KHFA is a legally recognized Cameroonian community organization (agreement N° 00001601/ARDA/JO6/A2/ALPA/APPB) serving Fulbe and Mbororo communities. "Kawtal" means "union" in Fulfulde. Its motto is "Humanism, Dignity and Hard Work" and its internal regulations were adopted in November 2020. KHFA est une organisation communautaire camerounaise légalement reconnue (agrément N° 00001601/ARDA/JO6/A2/ALPA/APPB) au service des communautés Fulbe et Mbororo. « Kawtal » signifie « union » en fulfuldé. Sa devise est « Humanisme, Dignité et Travail » et son règlement intérieur a été adopté en novembre 2020.
In which areas does KHFA work?Dans quels domaines KHFA intervient-elle ?
KHFA works around six pillars: socio-economic empowerment; land and natural resources; climate change and biodiversity; participation in decision-making; prevention of and response to gender-based violence; and defending the human rights of indigenous peoples. On the ground this translates into education, women's empowerment, livestock support, agriculture, solar energy and access to drinking water. KHFA intervient autour de six piliers : autonomisation socio-économique ; terres et ressources naturelles ; changement climatique et biodiversité ; participation à la prise de décision ; prévention et lutte contre la violence basée sur le genre ; défense des droits humains des peuples autochtones. Sur le terrain, cela se traduit par l'éducation, l'autonomisation des femmes, l'appui à l'élevage, l'agriculture, l'énergie solaire et l'accès à l'eau potable.

KHFA's head office is in Santa Barbara (200 m from OLA Station), Cameroon. Its projects have been carried out in several regions of Cameroon: the Adamawa (Tibati, Belel, Mbang-Fulbe), the West (Bantoum) and the South (Akom II, near Kribi). What has KHFA already achieved?Qu'est-ce que KHFA a déjà réalisé ?
Documented projects include: eco-friendly clay cookstoves in Tibati, market gardening in Bantoum, drip irrigation, sisal fencing and balkeria grass for livestock in Belel (Balkeria project), community maize production in Mbang-Fulbe, and community outreach in Akom II. All are documented with field photos on the Achievements page. Parmi les projets documentés : foyers écologiques en argile à Tibati, maraîchage à Bantoum, irrigation goutte-à-goutte, sisal en clôture et bracharia pour le bétail à Belel (projet Bracharia), production communautaire de maïs à Mbang-Fulbe, et sensibilisation à Akom II.
